have you ever watched cable news? they are gloryhounds using any tragedy to get ahead in their careers. they see this the way they see a missing intern or big trial.

again. do you ever watch the fucking news? they go to these places, stand there looking heroic trying to look moved. and maybe it seems convincing for this story, but when they have the same grim over the top emoting for every fucking story, even the god damn trials, it's obviously bullshit.
and your analogy doesn't hold. the news people don't help, they just feed off the stories like vultures. now, i'm all for the press. but please don't make sean penn out to be some kind of asshole for only helping x ammount of people when the newsmen aren't helping anyone.
