Sean Penn's under no obligation to do shit about Katrina, if he gets in a boat in the middle of a dangerous situation and helps even one person than it's a damn good thing. Who gives a shit if his photographer is there? No one seems to be whining that the reporters took their camera, because those are the real gloryhounds.
And good for Tom Delay and any other politician who does his job by helping the people.
And fuck that FEMA fuck who dropped the ball and allowed people to die.
And fuck G-man...because he deleted one of my posts once.
Someone didn't get his nap today.
No, Penn isn't under any obligation to help people; but if he takes up the task on his own, he then does gain responsibility for doing it properly. Filling up a boat load of people that you're supposed to put more people into is fucking retarded. I don't care who you are. Seems like all he was capable of doing was hindering people who really were rescueing survivors by putting himself and his group in a situation where they could wind up needing rescue.
John Travolta did it the right way. He used his money, his plane, and his flying skill to bring needed supplies and helped to improve the morale of rescue workers for even just a moment.
