I tend to agree with PJP, and I think r3x's point is valid: we should seek to honor the memory of those who died without politicizing it. I'm a firm believer that words have meaning, and should be chosen very carefully.
I think Patriots' Day is a little too over-the-top, since practically every person who loves their country could be considered a patriot. It also saps some meaning from the word (IMO) because everytime someone gets killed, they're usually described as a patriot. Day of Remembrance or Day of Reflection make more sense to me, even if people ultimately don't take things like this too seriously.
