Final Fantasy VI GBA Bound!

Square-Enix has announced that FF V and FF VI are in development.
In an unexpected announcement, Square-Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy VI will be appearing on the Game Boy Advance.
The news came at Nintendo's WiFi press conference today in Japan where Square-Enix president Yoichi Wada made the announcement.
In addition, the company is also hard at work on a GBA version of Final Fantasy V.
The legendary developer of role playing games has yet to reveal any solid details on the game or a release date. The news does however come after an announcement regarding Final Fantasy IV on the Game Boy Advance as well.
Square-Enix is currently porting (or has already done so) every game in the series to a Nintendo handheld. Could Final Fantasy VII be next? We'll have to wait and see.

Yay! FF6 was the best ever! But is FF2 (or rather, the one that was released as two in the states) on GBA?

That game was released as final Fantasy 4 Advanced, its the only game I've been playing on my game boy for while.
Both FF5 FF6 Advance are scheduled to come out this year, Square will have more info during E3.

Final Fantasy 6 is the best FF game, and certainly the most underrated. Cyan could bitchslap that little pussy Cloud down like nobody's business.

Final Fantasy 5 will be released on November 6th, no word on Final Fantasy 6 yet, but I was under the impression that they would come out at about the same time.
