on the other hand, by mature, I don't necessarily mean blood, guts, sex and swearing. I just like games that are a little more complex than jumping and running, catching mushrooms, etc.

mebbe im just confused on what you're looking for?

isn't most every game built off the simple concept of running and jumping? whether its tomb raider, mario, zelda, halo, metroid, etc.

every system, i believe, has their fair share of "mature" / "immature" games (regardless of what criteria you put behind those terms).

but i dont think anyone that has put 8-10 hours into mario sunshine, star fox adventures, rogue leader, metroid prime (etc, etc) would ever use the terms "immature" or "not complex"

I'll even point to an SNES game that proves both our points though: Legend of Zelda. I still swear by that damn game, and will admit, nothing I've played on the Playstation has ever come close to it.

once a zelda fan, always a zelda fan! [biiiig grin]

zelda has definitely produced some of the greatest games of all time. and, if yer teetering on the decision to get a gamecube, [worst. icon. ever.] please to note, you can now get the gamecube zelda game free with the purchase of the system!

and believe you me, the game is every bit as fun and challenging and mind blowing, fun and addicting as the n64, snes, and nes editions!
