Ann Coulter & Ted Rall:Peas in a Doctrinaire Pod

On the outside,they could hardly be more different.The most obvious difference between them,other than gender,is their respective political philosophies:Rall is a die-hard socialist,while Coulter's so far right she makes Pat Buchanan look like Karl Marx.However,in a number of fundamental and unfortunate ways the two of them are almost exactly alike:
    They're both incredibly self-righteous;
  • they both have zero sense of humor;
  • they both regard anyone who dares question or criticize their views as an enemy;
  • and they both display an incredible contempt for their peers in the media.
Frankly,America in general,and the writing profession in particular,would be considerably better off if we could just find a way to maroon these two on a desert island someplace with nobody to lash out at but each other.

Fox Loses Its "Head"

Meanwhile,on the entertainment front,the unthinkable has happened:Fox has displayed good judgement with a new series.By some divine miracle,common sense managed to infiltrate the Fox network's programming offices last week just long enough to get that idiotic show "Head Cases" cancelled after just three episodes.Now if we could just convince them to get rid of "Family Guy" once and for all...
