I remember reading in the Pro Wrestling magazines(when they thought wrestling was real) of the time, Flair said it was his most embarrassing loss....ever!
According to Flairs book or some other Flair interview, Dusty couldn't wait to take the belt off of him and thought Garvin would be a popular champ! Problem was that Garvin was only mildy popular in one area(can't remember if it was Georgia), naturally he tanked as champ and the Money Men went over Dustys head and booked Flair to win the belt back asap!
