Cincinnati--Moviegoers who choose to watch the upcoming movie “Kinsey” should remember that seeing is NOT necessarily believing.
“Alfred Kinsey asserted that early childhood sexual activity is a natural goal of children and as such children should be encouraged to explore their natural desires devoid of any ‘artificially’ imposed boundaries,” noted Michael Craven, the National Coalition’s vice president for Religious and Cultural Affairs.
The basis for this assertion was rooted in Kinsey’s unlawful and unconscionable experiments on children—some as young as five-months-old. Kinsey interpreted infant responses to sexual abuse to be indicative of “sexual satisfaction.” “Research has since revealed that Kinsey solicited pedophiles from known pedophile organizations to assist in child sex experiments,” added Craven. “Kinsey did not even attempt to conceal these facts as they are included directly within his infamous reports on male and female sexuality released in 1948 and 1953, respectively. These ‘reports’ are quite possibly the most cited and less read research ever conducted.”
It is also important to note that in April 2004, the American Legislative Exchange Council, a volunteer organization of state legislators, with nearly 2400 members nationwide, released a report acknowledging Kinsey’s fraudulent science and subsequent impact on society.
It was Kinsey who put forth the “rape myth” which postulated that many women fantasized about being raped and therefore could in fact send subtle signals that might invite such an egregious assault.
“Kinsey’s impact on our culture has been nothing short of devastating and there has been little opportunity to challenge his ideas in the marketplace of ideas until now,” said Craven. “Moviegoers and movie critics need to know the truth about the man and his so-called science.”
