1.) Scrooged - I love Bill Murray and this is easily one of my favorite of his films. A comedic take on a classic tale that never ceases to amuse me.
2.) Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas - I consider this both a Halloween and a Christmas movie. Any film that traverses the holiday barrier so effortlessly is an instant classic in my book! Plus, it contains one of my all-time favorite movie villains - Oogie Boogie, voiced by the stellar Ken Page!
3.) Elf - I just saw this movie a few weeks ago and thought it was a DAMN funny film! Will Ferrell never disappoints and this film is no exception. That and Zooey Deschanel is hot...
4.) How the Grinch Stole Christmas - The original. Boris Karloff + Thurl Ravenscroft + Dr. Seuss = holiday gold!
5.) The Muppet Christmas Carol - I have loved the Muppets since my childhood and seeing a seasoned actor like Michael Caine interacting with some of the best memories of my childhood (i.e. - those spent in front of the television) is just too good to be true..
