Baseball is a sport played between two teams usually of nine players each. It is a bat-and-ball game in which a pitcher throws (pitches) a hard, fist-sized, leather-covered ball toward a batter on the opposing team. The batter attempts to hit the baseball with a tapered cylindrical bat, made of wood (as required in professional baseball) or a variety of other materials (as allowed in many nonprofessional games). A team scores runs only when batting, by advancing its players—primarily via hits—counterclockwise past a series of four markers called bases arranged at the corners of a ninety-foot square, or "diamond." The game, played without time restriction, is structured around nine segments called innings. In each inning, both teams are given the opportunity to bat and score runs; a team's half-inning ends when three outs are recorded against that team. Baseball on the professional, amateur, and youth levels is popular in North America, Central America, parts of South America, parts of the Caribbean, and East Asia. The modern version of the game developed in North America beginning in the eighteenth century. The consensus of historians is that it evolved from earlier bat-and-ball games, such as rounders, brought to the continent by British and Irish immigrants. By the late nineteenth century, baseball was widely recognized as the national sport of the United States. The game is sometimes referred to as hardball in contrast to the very similar game of softball.

In 1884, African American Moses Walker (and, briefly, his brother Welday) had played for the Toledo Blue Stockings of the major-league-level American Association. An injury ended Walker's major league career, and by the early 1890s, a "gentlemen's agreement" in the form of the baseball color line effectively barred African-American players from the majors and their affiliated minor leagues, resulting in the formation of several Negro Leagues. The first crack in the agreement occurred in 1946, when Jackie Robinson was signed by the National League's Brooklyn Dodgers and began playing for their minor league team in Montreal. Finally, in 1947, the major leagues' color barrier was broken when Robinson debuted with the Dodgers. Although the transformation was not instantaneous, baseball has since become fully integrated.

The Byrds Turn! Turn! Turn! (to Everything There Is a Season)
to everything - turn, turn, turn There is a season - turn, turn, turn And a time for every purpose under heaven
A time to be born, a time to die A time to plant, a time to reap A time to kill, a time to heal A time to laugh, a time to weep
To everything - turn, turn, turn There is a season - turn, turn, turn And a time for every purpose under heaven
A time to build up, a time to break down A time to dance, a time to mourn A time to cast away stones A time to gather stones together
To everything - turn, turn, turn There is a season - turn, turn, turn And a time for every purpose under heaven
A time of war, a time of peace A time of love, a time of hate A time you may embrace A time to refrain from embracing
To everything - turn, turn, turn There is a season - turn, turn, turn And a time for every purpose under heaven
A time to gain, a time to lose A time to rend, a time to sew A time to love, a time to hate A time of peace, I swear it's not too late!

Unreconstruced Rebel
Oh, I'm a good old Rebel, Now that's just what I am; For this "fair land of Freedom" I do not care a damn. I'm glad I fit against it- I only wish we'd won. And I don't want no pardon For anything I've done.
I hates the Constitution, This great Republic too; I hates the Freedmen's Buro, In uniforms of blue. I hates the nasty eagle, With all his brag and fuss; But the lyin', thievin' Yankees I hates' em wuss and wuss.
We got three hundred thousand Befo' they conquered us. They died of Southern fever And Southern steel and shot; And I wish it was three million Instead of what we got.
I can't take up my musket And fight' em now no mo', But I ain't a-goin'to love' em, Now that is sartin sho'; And I don't want no pardon For what I was and am; And I won't be reconstructed, And I do not give a damn.

Cowboy Jack
He was just a lonely cowboy With a heart so brave and true And he learned to love a maiden With eyes of Heaven's own blue
They learned to love each other As they named their wedding day When a quarrel came between them And Jack, he rode away
He joined a band of cowboys And tried to forget her name And out on the lonely prairie She waits for him the same
One night when work was finished Just at the close of day Someone said sing a song Jack T'will drive those cares away
When Jack began his singing His mind, it wandered back For he sang of a maiden Who was waiting for her Jack
Jack left the camp next morning Breathing his sweetheart's name He said I'll ask forgiveness For I know that I'm to blame
But when he reached the prairie He found a new made mound And his friends they sadly told him That they laid his loved one down
They said as she was dying She breathed her sweetheart's name And asked them with her last breath To tell Jack when he came
Your sweetheart waits for you, Jack Your sweetheart waits for you Out on the lonely prairie Where the skys are always blue

Ronald Wilson Reagan (February 6, 1911 – June 5, 2004) was the 40th President of the United States (1981–1989) and the 33rd Governor of California (1967–1975). Born in Tampico, Illinois, Reagan moved to Los Angeles, California in the 1930s. He began a career in filmmaking and later television, making 52 films and gaining enough success to become a household name. Though often described as a B film actor, he starred in both Knute Rockne, All American and Kings Row. Reagan served as president of the Screen Actors Guild, and later spokesman for General Electric (GE); his start in politics occurred during his work for GE. Originally a member of the Democratic Party, he switched to the Republican Party in 1962. After delivering a rousing speech in support of Barry Goldwater's presidential candidacy in 1964, he was persuaded to seek the California governorship, winning two years later and again in 1970. He was defeated in his run for the Republican presidential nomination in 1968 as well as 1976, but won both the nomination and election in 1980.

In the year 1980, Ronald Reagan won the Presidential Election of the United States. He pursued policies that emphasized personal freedom, expanded the scope of the military, improved the US economy and brought an end to the Cold War. The economy policies that were enacted in 1981 were called Reaganomics. The economic policies aimed at reduction in social spending and enhancing entrepreneurship. Due to his political excellence, he won a second term in 1985.
Ronald Reagan is the oldest President of the United States; he was 77 years old when he left the office in 1989. He died on June 5, 2004, due to pneumonia. The life of Ronald Reagan has taught us a wonderful lesson that if you strive honestly in life, then success is guaranteed. Due to his strong pathbreaking political views, the world remembers him by the name 'The Gipper' and 'The Great Communicator'.

The first child of his marriage to Nancy Reagan, Patti Davis, as she calls herself professionally, turned her long-running feud with her parents into a literary career. Throughout the '70s, Patti flouted her parents' conservatism, living with a member of the rock band the Eagles and participating in the nuclear freeze movement. After years as a struggling actress, Patti tried her hand at writing. In 1986, she published "A House of Secrets," an undeniably autobiographical novel about a liberal young writer whose conservative father is the governor of California and then the president of the United States, and whose mother is an exacting woman obsessed with appearances and propriety. A long estrangement between Patti and her parents followed. In recent years, Patti has voiced regret at her rebellious behavior and accusatory writing. She and her parents reconciled briefly in 1993, shortly before Reagan's diagnosis with Alzheimer's, while she was writing "Angels Don't Die: My Father's Gift of Faith.".
Ron Reagan's relationship with his parents has been characterized as the smoothest. Born in 1958, Ron lived his entire life as a politician's son. (By this time, Reagan was edging toward politics, capitalizing on his position as a recognized conservative spokesman in his role as host of "G.E. Theater.") Ron, following the lead of his three siblings, none of whom completed college, dropped out during his first semester at Yale in 1976 to pursue what he said was a lifelong dream (heretofore unknown to his parents) to become a ballet dancer. Ron Reagan drifted among careers, leaving the ballet to become a print journalist and then a TV newsmagazine correspondent. Perhaps his background in journalism has allowed him to speak with more objectivity than his siblings about his parents' remoteness from everyone but each other.

• One of the most interesting batman facts is the question of whether batman ever used a gun or not. If you thought that Batman never uses a gun, think again, there are several issues where our caped crusader is seen with a machine gun or two. But, the most fascinating issue was the penultimate “Final Crisis” where he broke his “no firearms” rules and shot Darkseid using the bullet that took the life of Orion.

Pornography
Pornography takes different forms depending on physical characteristics of the participants, fetish, sexual orientation, etc. Reality and voyeur pornography, animated videos, and legally prohibited acts also influence the classification of pornography.

The upstart league placed franchises in Baltimore, Maryland and Buffalo. After looking at his new league Ban Johnson decided that he would need a team in Boston to compete with the National League team there and so cancelled the Buffalo club's franchise, offering one to a new club in Boston. Playing their home games at Huntington Avenue Grounds, the Boston franchise finished second and third before capturing their first pennant in 1903 and repeating the next year. Those teams were led by manager and star third baseman Jimmy Collins, outfielders Chick Stahl, Buck Freeman and Patsy Dougherty and pitcher Cy Young, who in 1901 won the pitching Triple Crown with 33 wins (41.8% of the team's 79 games), 1.62 ERA and 158 strikeouts. His 1901 to 1904 seasons rank among the best four-year runs ever.

In 1903, Boston participated in the first modern World Series, beating the favored Pittsburgh Pirates, winners of the NL pennant by six and a half games, winning the best-of-nine series five games to three. Aided by the modified chants of "Tessie" by the Royal Rooters fan club and by its stronger pitching staff, the Americans managed to overcome the odds, and win the World Series.
