I've met Grimm and Doc. I almost met Prometheus, but he didn't go to Dragon*Con (y'bitch!  ). I've spoken to those three, plus Harley and PJP, on the phone.

Anyway, as stated many times elsewhere, I knew Grimm, Doc, and Cross before they ever showed up here. I was already posting on these boards when I made the mistake of telling Grimm how to get here. He, in turn, brought in Doc. And, I have recently influenced Cross into showing up. I apologize.
I have talked to Joe on the phone, as he stated. But, we couldn't really understand each other due to our accents...
There are very few posters here I would want to meet in real life, as they would suddenly become complete strangers to me. I mean, I know the screen names and written personalities. But, that's generally always completely different from the actual person typing the words.

PJP is the one who brought me here from the DCMBs orginally - a long time ago - I kinda knew Uschi and J'burg from there too.
I've spoken to klinton, Pete, JM and Grimm in "real" life. Said hi to doc once, but he was too busy mumbling about purses...if cross was the fourth dude hanging with Grimm, Pro and doc last night, well, then I've heard him too. TK and I constantly PM each other and we're friends, even though we've never spoken.

i've talked to stareena on the phone a few times. not so much recently, cuz she hates me now, ...and... lives in france, or something, but we had a pretty great n'special relationship that i cherished quite much. she's a good girl, that one. we've tried a few times to meet, even my most recent trip to vegas, but something always fucks it up. "next time, next time..."
through association, i also spoke with dhaise on the phone, which freaked me out.
i've received things in the mail from franta, and have exchanged other packages (wink wink) with bsams and roy and pro and doc and a few others, whom i can't currently remember.
there are a few other people i know in real life that i've gotten to post here once or twice, or at least create a name so's they can read, but...
that aside, i guess i've never met any posters that i didn't already know.

Yes, but, then that's all it would be. Just "Hi!" I mean, I have a hard enough time trying to find things to talk about with my own girlfriend over the phone, much less a vocal stranger. BUT, next time Grimm is on the phone with you, I promise to speak. Hope that helps. 
And, yes, a beach would be easier because you would be in front of me where I could see your face, and, you would be wearing a swimsuit of some sort, and that's always good....
As far as the original topic of this thread, I guess I should add that Franta has sent me some Doctor Who merchandise, and Rob knows my secret identity, too. And Nowhereman collected all four variant Radio Times covers for the Who anniversary and mailed them to me, overseas and all, and asked for nothing in return.
