That bribery and corruption unconnected to a single lobbyist is somehow more excusable?
Or that bribery and corruption by a democrat is somehow more excusable?
Nope, just that the GOP has been abusing it's power & it's time to clean house. It's not a case of one being excusable over the other, just a recognition that the Abramoff scandal involves many Republicans (including the President) while the Jefferson thing seems to be a solo act.
