It's in Atlanta. By "too far away" I mean it's to far in the year for my liking. I'm already working out travel arrangements with friends. We drove last year. Wow. I bought advance tix for WW (two or three years ago) for 20 bucks weeks before the con. This past summer they went up to 25. D*Con must be in a larger convention hall then.

I concur with Grimm. The ticket prices were, to me, amazingly reasonable. Well below what I expected to pay, actually. The celebrities are very accessible and friendly - meeting Lloyd Kaufman and Ken Foree were highlights for me. And the bands and cosplay fans are also very personable and willing to have their pictures taken. Overall, I had an amazing time at D*C and can't wait to return this year.
Dinner with the Vigil Bros...also a highlight.
