I would agree, but in this particular case I think the character of Audrey is enough different (from the others) that the slow pacing add, and not detract, from the main story.
I mean, well, we know that she's Chewy's character and we expect to have her as a full member of this new MBL, but if we were "readers" we wouldn't know. As readers, we know who she is, but not what she's going to be. A hero, a villain, a pawn in the hand of a villain... we just know that her different introduction from the other MBL members means she something different.
And she is. She's the only female, she is an artificial, hybrid being, she has the mind of a child, she has to learn everything... she nneds a special, slow introduction.
Maybe issue 2 is even still too early to have her joining...
Ehy, Chewy, do you want to start this issue to focus over Audrey or do you prefer to allow her more time in the background, and have someone else start issue 2?
