At the department store where I work, there was a big signing event when the WWE being in town coincided with the release of one of the Raw video games. As such, we have one of our ex-display X-Boxes signed by Kane (and Terri Runnels, but nobody gives a fuck).
This thing was used as a test console; when people would bring in games they claimed to be faulty, we'd try 'em out on our Kane-machine (I'm not sure if the majority of its testing was done before or after the signing). Now it's outlived its usefulness, and is being sold off the floor. Us being a store, it's just getting sold at regular recommended retail price for a Microsoft X-Box (minus a discount, I think, 'cause it's been used).
This strikes me as odd. Would there not be geeks out there somewhere who'd put down good cash for something like that? Like, say, if I was to hit eBay?
