To me its more about my pride. The fact that the comics market is such a small niche and yet the publishers keep taking a shit on us for no reason, and somehow keep earning extra revenue everytime they do. Evertime a comic goes up, I normally drop it, and theres no way im picking up the new Flash or JLofA titles if they are re-launched at $3, especially when they were one of the only 2 that stayed at $2.50.

The nail in the coffin for 52 for me was when Didio stated "It will be at a special low-price of $2.50". $2.50 is not low, especially for 22 pages. He can go fuck himself with his "special low price". I might have considered giving the series a try if he hadn't said that, aswell.....

Comics market will collapse in on itself sooner or later like Mark Millar said. Already the Big 2 are launching mini-series' at $3.50, and the piece of shit company IDW are charging $4 for 22 pages. It wont be long until all companies follow suit and even the rabid fan-boys find that they ain't got enough for the next big cross-over.

I wanna know why they've raised so much in the last few years aswell. Only 3/4 years ago $2.25 was considered the highest price, then that became the absolute lowest, then they jacked all those up to $2.50, and now basically everything published is $3 minimum
