at this point, its mostly a potential thing. sure, $10 or $15 or even $30 a month is great -- who the fuck would turn that down? but, debt-wise, its not like it balances anything out or provides a nice retirement future for me.
what i have seen is the potential of the google ads. minisites, such as balltoucher.com can be an enormous financial generator.
if i could get more people to the site, and more people clicking on the ads there, it works a lot more in my favor than simply working the rkmbs -- and actually, percentage wise, is a great deal more important.
thats why i wanted to start "balltoucher.com" email chains. if each of you sent the link and your high score to 10 people, and each of those hit 10, etc, the link and site would spread out exponentially, and potentially for years. that kinda viral "marketing" to a simple site like balltoucher.com is gold.
email, myspace, posts on other boards, submitting the link to radio station sites or "site of the day" sites or whatever ... hell, just word-of-mouth! thats what makes sites.
