Yeah. It seems like they were trying to find voice clips that deliberately sounded like they were voice clips from different sources spliced together. It served a double purpose by working to enhance the obviousness of Chef's brainwashing (he really sounded crazy and unhinged this way) as well as working as an inside joke for anyone following the Scientology/Hayes controversy.
