Outcasts vs. Chewy Walrus and Killconey
Both sides came out swinging, with Chewy Walrus and El Superbeasto facing off in the ring while Killconey taunted Oakley from the opposite corner as Oakley fired back with a torrent of insults! The two titans in the ring fought to a near-standstill…
Monroe: Both men are beating the hell out of each other!
Louie: I’m surprised the ring’s still standing!
Just as the match was about to reach a stalemate, Captain Sammitch suddenly appeared at the top of the ramp! The crowd cheered, and the Outcasts both looked over and immediately began hurling insults at the IC champion. Sammitch just stayed where he was and grinned, arms crossed over his chest.
Louie: Sammitch is interfering in the match!
Monroe: From the top of the ramp?
Chewy tagged in Killconey, and Superbeasto tagged in Oakley. The crowd cheered as Killconey went on the offensive, but Oakley’s size advantage allowed him to turn the tide and start putting Killconey on the run. Meanwhile, Captain Sammitch began taunting El Superbeasto in the luchadore’s native language, enraging the giant Mexican.
Louie: This is a travesty! He shouldn’t be allowed to distract the Outcasts like that!
Monroe: If distracting people from ringside were outlawed, I doubt we’d still get to be out here, let alone anyone else.
Chris Oakley whipped Killconey into the ropes, then executed a perfect Red Alert! Killconey dropped to the mat, and Oakley went for the cover… then stopped.
Louie: What’s goin’ on?
Instead of pinning Killconey, Oakley rushed to the corner and started shouting at Captain Sammitch!
Monroe: The man is nuts!
Louie: Sammitch is cheating! He’s keeping Oakley from going for the cover!
Monroe: What? Does he have a string around him or something???
El Superbeasto started heading up the ramp toward Captain Sammitch, and Oakley kept yelling at the IC champ from the ring.
Louie: This is ridiculous! Sammitch should be stripped of his title for interfering in the tournament semifinals!
Monroe: But he hasn’t done anything to break the rules!!!
El Superbeasto and Captain Sammitch were only about ten feet apart. The giant luchadore was shouting Spanish obscenities at Sammitch, while Sammitch just stood there and smiled.
Monroe: El Superbeasto is afraid to touch Sammitch for fear of getting the Outcasts disqualified from the match – and the tournament!
Louie: At least someone’s showing some restraint - and some respect for this event and what it means!
Oakley kept shouting and gesturing wildly, and finally Killconey got to his feet and landed a low blow from behind! It did more to startle Oakley than it did to hurt him, but it was enough to send Oakley over the edge. Chris began screaming at Lothar about cheap shots, and Lothar, who had been distracted by the exchange on the ramp, looked at Killconey to confirm Oakley’s accusations. Killconey shrugged and nodded, then turned to Oakley and invited Chris to take a free shot at him. Oakley swung at Killconey and connected with a vicious hard right! Killconey staggered back into the corner – and just barely managed to tag Chewy Walrus before he hit the mat. Chris didn’t even notice – he was too busy fuming at Killconey. Sammitch and Superbeasto were both all the way at the top of the ramp, still locked in their own confrontation, and Chewy Walrus took advantage of the free pass to circle around the ring.
As Killconey lay on the mat, dazed, Chris Oakley continued screaming at him like a man possessed. Oakley shouted at Killconey a little more, then kicked him a few times for good measure, at which point Lothar pointed out that Killconey wasn’t the legal man. Chris turned around to ask Lothar for some clarification – and got it in the form of a Walrus Tusk spear to the chest from a waiting Chewy!
Monroe: Buhgawb!
El Superbeasto saw what had happened and charged down the ramp, but he couldn’t get there in time, as Chewy Walrus covered Chris Oakley for the three-count and James White rang the bell.
Monroe: Chewy Walrus and Killconey have defeated the Outcasts!
El Superbeasto charged into the ring and went after Chewy Walrus as Chris Oakley resumed beating on Killconey. Captain Sammitch headed down the ramp to break up the fight.
Louie: That match was a joke! The SDC cheated to win that!
Monroe: How? The Outcasts had the match won, but instead of going for the cover and the win they let their anger get the best of them, and the SDC simply seized on the opportunity like any good wrestlers would’ve done!
The five grapplers in the ring were still scuffling as RCDW security headed toward the ring to restrain them. El Superbeasto was pulled away from Captain Sammitch and Chris Oakley was yanked off of Killconey, but Superbeasto broke free and charged after Sammitch again – and was stopped by another Walrus Tusk from Chewy!
Monroe: Buhgawb! Chewy Walrus speared both Outcasts! We’ve got mayhem in the ring!
