STAR TREK: VOYAGER

The Doctor programs himself with the ability to daydream. When an alien spy gains access to the Doctor's visions he mistakes them for reality.

This one is excellent! I laughed out loud a lot during it.

The Doctor starts having harmless daydreams,like where all the women on Voyager have the hots for him, and where he becomes an EMERGENCY COMMAND HOLOGRAM, and saves the ship!

Due to the alien spy accessing his program, he becomes stuck in his daydreams. Captain Janeway makes it so that she and a few others can observe his fantasies.... which, for TV are all G Rated... and he is seducing all the women - including Janeway herself!

He also sees himself in command of the ship and defeating a Borg vessel.

The problem is soon fixed by BE'lanna Torres.

The Alien spy, who, like the rest of his species look like failed Sontarans...sends a projection into his holo matrix
to warn him of an imminent attack by his ship.

Holo -Doc is able to convince Janeway that this is NOT another daydream by making the sensors able to detect their cloaked ships.

The Doctor then has to assume commnad of VOYAGER
as the aliens have observed his fantasies and think HE is in charge.

Janeway helps prompt him on what to say.

When VOYAGER'S phasers are damaged and offline, the Doctor improvises and says he'll fire THE PHOTONIC CANNON if the aliens do not break off the attack. This is a device he used to destroy the Borg Vessel in his daydreams.

The aliens cannot detect such a weapon on VOYAGER.
The Doctor tells them that it is un - dectectable by sensors and he will fire if they do not leave.

The aliens, who can only act if their heirarchy approves - are told to break off the attack.

Later, the Doctor thinks his daydream program is malfunctioning again when he is summoned to a ceremony in which he recieves a commendation for his quick thinking during the alien attack.

Janeway agrees to do research into his becoming an EMERGENCY COMMAND HOLOGRAM.

This is a terrific episode!!
