I'm thinking 3rd place is realistic for the Tigers. But, then again, I placed the Indians 3rd last year behind the White Sox and Twins. So who knows - Detroit could be as good as 2nd or as bad as 4th (thank God for the Royals, eh?).

Out in the AL West, I'm still seeing a two team race between the Angels and A's. The Rangers will play spoiler and the Mariners will be good for a chuckle or two, but the division belongs to Oakland's pitching or Anaheim's seemingly complete team. I'm still picking Anaheim and thinking that Oakland will trade Zito in July, probably to an NL contender.
