That's interesting. To me, it was the most obvious. It already had a "musical" component (the "Putting on the Ritz" number). Furthermore, a "Frankenstein" musical would be no more far-fetched than "Sweeney Todd," "Beauty and the Beast" or "the Phantom of the Opera."
