I get that the fight would only have lasted a few seconds. But it wasn't instantaneous. It takes time to set off bombs, knee someone in the groin, whip out a laser pointer, cut the wings off of Hawkman, etc. It can be done quickly, but not so quickly that GL shouldn't have had time to be all like 'giant robot dinosaur!'
