I remember watching something on Metallica around the time of "Load".
Basically Metallica had always took the piss out of bands that wore make-up, yet when they released "Load", they started wearing make-up, and the minute the fans saw the pictures of the band in make-up, the concert tickets, which were selling well, suddenly started selling worse than Hulk Hogan!
