"Inheritence" implies that someone must die before you gain access to your promise piece of real estate. My suggestion is:

1. identify the said owner of the land;
2. ensure that they bequeath to you the land in their will;
3. wait for them to drop off the perch.

If the owner is Llance, you might be in luck. If it is Bibbo, you may be waiting decades.
