Also, I share Rob's POV that the expansion of the Bat-"family" is ridiculous. What adds insult to injury is Didio saying that Batwoman is an attempt at making a Bat-character who doesn't have a dark Background--Which is stupid. So what if the other character's have dark history? That's Batman's entire thesis.

Furthermore: Batwoman? What the hell is that? It's not scary, it's clumsy. It degenerates the urban legend aura that supposed to surround Batman. If people see that there's a Batboy, Batgirl, or Batwoman, it's just going to become obvious that the Batman is a real person. The name "Batman" is like a superlative. When you hear it, you expect this monsterous half man half bat creature. "Batwoman", however, is denoting a woman wearing a bat costume.
