there is a good amount of angst and strugle in the religious topics as well, rexie, but there's also the spiritual half of religion that delves more into faith and belief and heaven, etc, that i felt was better suited by the new forum

i agree, along with the above mentioned TV forum there's always been a little argument with the wimmens forum in it becoming "too girlie and less T&A"
And, to be fair, one of my favorite friends there is blind and I take every opportunity available to make fun of that and we're still friends. That guy never fit there. He never got the spirit of the RKMBs. We're gonna keep an eye on the obits, see if he finally left or if he really did have a heart attack.

is there a need for a tv forum outside of the current tv/media forum? the media forum always seemed like a nice mix of movies, tv, and music (and 3 books). if tv's popularity were to overpower that of the other stuff, i'll make a new place for it.

I was pondering that last night. might be interesting.
My whole argument is that sports fans who dont like wrestling are put off by the ammount of wrestling topics, and rather than start topics abouts sports such as, oh I dunno, hockey, they just stay away!
I think that wrestling could certainly support its own forum, and then a wrestling free sports forum would be more inviting to other sports fans.
Especially when some people dont consider wrestling a sport anyway!

The wrestling thing is a better example than the TV thing. Both have more than enough to support their own forum. There also both different enough to easily separate.

I think separating the DT and political cartoon forum was a good idea. I should think that, since I was one of the (apparently many) people who suggested it to Rob in my weekly secret love letter.
Actually, I think Nowhereman has a good idea, too. Wrestling probably could support its own forum, and it would unclutter things a bit.
I promise, I won't start any hockey threads(unless everyone wants me to, then I'll promise to start a lot of them, but never actually do it).
