Software
yahoo messenger with voice.
: download the newest version of Yahoo Instant Messenger here
2: go through the installation of the software.
3: now, if you don't already have a Yahoo account you're gonna need to sign up. here
4: now, sign in and add some buddies.
add one or all from the list below for an invite.

5: ask for an invite. simply choose a name and double click.
6: accept the invite and join the conference
note the hands free and mute check boxes and the volume control slider. by right clicking the names in the list to the right you can add others to your buddy list.
Additional Crap
lets say your like a certain Oz and can't handle people's real names. you can change their display name by right clicking the name and changing it under contact details.
you can mute that annoying chime by either going to the alerts and sounds section in your preferences under the messenger drop down menu.
you can also change it to a milder sound by doing the following:
control panel >> sounds >> sounds .. yeahoo messenger.
Recording Chat [list]
if you'd like to record the voice chat there's a simple, easy to use client to do so. SoliCall is a noise reduction/recording piece of freeware. it works with skype, yahoo, aim, msn, windows live and google talk.
install: go through the install process, ignore the microsoft screen warning you about your system..blah blah blah...
Configure: to record the chat you'll first need to configure SoliCall. you can refer to this FAQ if needed.
first you'll need to configure solicall. go to the options window under the tools menu
select the proper devices.
now open up the IM client: in this case yahoo.
go to messenger >> preferences >> calling and audio
select solicall under the proper drop down menus
