However, I felt cheated in the "time jump" that happens in the movie. I thought we (the audience) should've seen more, not just be told what had happened.
If you can take what's given to you, then I'm sure you'll enjoy the movie. However, if you're like me (and everyone in my group when we saw it) you'll want more facts and more visuals that cover the "time when the dragons took over" than a mere mention of it.
I will not see E.L.F because that's the dumbest movie title since "Jeepers Creepers".
Reign of Fire I did see, and it was "ok".
I was really impressed with Matthew M's performance, and primarily at the months he must have spent in the gym to look like he did. I didn't think much of him before as a character actor(he was good in A Time To Kill as the leading man, though), but this role was great.
What I didn't like was the approach taken with the Dragons. I would have liked it more if they'd used the Jurassic Park/Godzilla(1998 American version) approach to the giant predator, not showing them until the most critical moment of danger. Reign of Fire was far from scary and really didn't bring out how monstrously powerful the Dragons were like Jurassic Park and Godzilla did.
I liked Reign of Fire quite a bit. I understand where you're coming from Bianca,but I didnt dwell on it and the movie entertained me very well. As for the Spider movie,it was exactly what I expected and therefore I liked it as well.
