I dig Weezer alot myself, as well....for me, they sound an awful lot like some of the so-called "New wave" guys of the early 1980's, especially one of my favorites, The Cars.
'Course, it's no wonder...Ric Ocasick (lead singer of the Cars) has produced all of their albums, I believe..
