its a clip from the hanso exposed website, released during the "lost experience" ...thing.
if you go through that whole site, there's like 50+ movie clips in that faux-70s, film-reel style, dishing out lil tidbits on the foundation and dharma.
this is a completed youtube of all of them, which forms a nearly-cohesive story.

The "suburb" was freaky! Nice seeing a Goodwin and Ethan cameo. Didn't take me long to figure out they were being held in an abandoned zoo area. Sawyer was hilarious in his cage. Kate's thing was bizarre. What happened between the time she and Henry Gale ("Ben") had breakfast, and when she was brought to the cage?
And, for the last time, fuck Jack! I am so SICK of his "daddy's boy" backstory! Let it go. Tired. Done. Doner. Donest. What a jackass. Almost my least favorite member of the show (Claire is number one).
Wish this had been a two-hour premiere. Want to see the rest of the cast, and what the hell happened in the Hatch...
Agreed. It's like, the writers don't get that Jack and Kate are about as interesting as a bag of sticks. Sawyer is king. But, Locke, Eko, Hurley, Sayid, Jin and Sun...those are the stars in my opinion...

i'm not sure which is the original. i heard the one with the song first, but the dialogue fits as well. I liked the opening sequence and the pine tree surrounded suburbs on the island. While the Dharma stuff is still a mystery i feel we're getting closer to the true nature of things. Kate is hot, the dress made her even hotter.

Better Netflix the crap out of Season Two before next week....that is, if you want to get caught up...
Nah...stuff like this is better watched on DVD. I always forget about it and miss episodes (remember me trying to record Doctor Who for you....yeah) and then give up. I'll just wait.
Well, I think the suburb thing is real. Other than that, I didn't get a hint of any kind of double-bluff or whatever.
Of course, I've thought about a 'Truman Show' type game surrounding the characters. But, I think that's a bit too elaborate and a bit too much of a cop-out in the end. I think alot of LOST is face value.
Dharma was a think-tank created by an eccentric group of billionaire's or whoever. They set up on that island to try and figure out how to harness the natural geological energy that seems to use the island as a focal point (just like the dude in the Autralian outback that tried to heal Rose). They also used the island to explore other issues and theories they were working on (that's where the polar bears come from).
Something went wrong, and the hatch/button system was setup to cap the energy source (like an oil well?) and help release pent-up EMP bursts.
The Dharma group working on the island....did they rebel and are now being lead by someone else? Were they abandoned because no one on the outside could find the island again (who/how did the food crate parachute in?) Or, is this merely just the next evolution of their experimentation: social and psychological interactions/reactions with people?
The rest of the mysteries that have yet to be sufficiently explained:
Why these people? Is it all coincedence their lives have criss-crossed in the past?
The numbers....is there really something to it, or, is it just Hurley's superstition?
What is it about Walt and why would they want him?
What is that smoke-creature/"island defense system"?
Is there an overall reason why each and every one of them are there? Or, even, just the "main cast"?

Apparently tonight's episode is a Jin and Sun episode as they search for Jack, Kate, and Sawyer on the other side of the island with Sayid. I've heard we won't get to the Hatch or any of the other survivors 'til next week...
