Locke's dad, actually. And we don't actually see the original Sawyer, but can infer from Locke's father's gig as a con-man (conning his son out of a kidney, faking his own death, etc.), that he and the original 'Sawyer' are one and the same.

The guy thinks these last three "facts" mean that everyone in the island is a clone. I kinda buy the first two (I'd heard the first somewhere else), but I'm not sure about the others. Unfortunately, I can't be arsed to check the episodes for any of these things.
