I love how newbies always assume that they can claim the hearts and minds of posters on new message boards by trying as hard as possible to become dominant and defensive in every new interaction, as well as making sure to remind their new friends that they've posted on message boards before...
 
I have been here for over 3 years. It took me about a year before I began to feel confident about posting threads and asserting my personality in the RKMBs. True friendship cannot be established instantly. It takes time. Trust cannot be given until it has been earned. Respect also comes in time.
