D.L. (Nikki's husband) and mindwipe guy are the same person. Look at the picture the cop shows Nikki. "Is this your husband?" She responds yes. Same guy. I think it also said so in TV Guide.
Hiro is great. His scene with Nathan was the best. I like this show. Studio 60 is pretty good too.

I think Mindwipe Guy's powers aren't as effective on specials. Remember, he also could hinder Matt's telepathy, but Matt could still manage to pluck out Claire's name from Secret Agent Guy's head.
As for the symbol Niki has tattooed, that's been showing up in other places. It appeared in the elder Suresh's computer, and a hose at the crime scene Matt was investigating took the same shape. It's supposedly some kind of fractal pattern to predict where the supers are going to show up. That's what Sylar is using to find people and kill them.

When Mohinder found the map in Sylar's apartment with a lot of locations, as well as some pictures, including one of Nathan. Which is why Mohinder went to Nathan last week, to warn him he might be in danger.

Frankly, I think that the D.L. character will end being one of those classic "misunderstood" guys. Everyone thinks he's guilty of a crime but he'll prove them wrong and he'll be seen as a "good guy."
I've heard one theory advanced that it's Niki's alter ego who's the one who's really guilty of the murders that D.L.'s been charged with.
