boston public was a kick ass show. two particular favorites, harvey's " boom boom boom" speech (one of the greatest moments on tv, evar) and sharon leal, one of the (fucking!) hottest and least-known starlets on the lil screen.
speaking o'which, i still think claire is ridiculously hot.
just finished watching the past 3 weeks worth of episodes. i still find fault with the acting at moments, the score is weak, and the dialog can be trying... but... now that the pacing has really picked up, the show has significantly improved. the overall, on-going storyline is incredibly solid and has reached that "must watch to find out" plateau.
its become much more fun to watch

My daughter who watched LOST was telling me that on this week's episode, the story played around with the idea that one of the characters--Desmond--may have super-powers (precognition).

Claire's Mom is in bad shape, too much mindwiping is a bitch. I really thought Matt was going to buy it in this one, I'm glad he didn't. Though next episode will be a little rough for him. I'm interested to see how things come together for Hiro.

Heroes was excellent tonight! Spoilers Spoilers Here are the spoilers! Okay, so Peter is finally beginning to learn to use his powers! But it is really HIM that blows up? Or is it the Radioactive Guy? Bad Matt! He's a cop! He oughta know better than to keep stuff that is not his! Hiro has his powers back! Awesome! Or does he? Good for you, Claire, telling off your asshole dad! I hate that guy who kills the other Heroes! I liked that super hearing lady!  I hope he gets what's coming to him soon!

Is Claire's dad really an asshole? Other than the constant mind wipes of his wife he's so far been shown as a guy with a very tough job just trying to do his best & protect his family. Even the deal with his wife, he obviously didn't know it was hurting her.
BTW, I thought it was lame to kill off the girlfriend if this was the death they've been promoing.

Well, we don't know she's dead, yet; it's very likely, but...
Anyway, great episode. Wifi Network Girl seems cool, and I totally didn't expect Matt and Ted to show up at the Bennetts so soon. And the final scene with Peter and Isaac? Classic. My jaw dropped when Simone got shot. And then she dropped Isaac's key. Good stuff.

Isaac and Peter's turn on each other was indeed classic.

I totally agree with Jeremy's assessment of Bennett - total control freak and its all starting to unravel for him.
I never even thought about the fact that Ando could share/aid Hiro's powers - cool idea - I like the character and hope his departure isn't permanent.
Loved the Isaac/Peter fight, but c'mon - none of you saw Simone's death coming from a mile away?

I didn't foresee Simone being killed at all. I saw her part of that love triangle continuing, even past the point of her finding Peter. No, I thought for sure it'd be Claire's Mom (obvious) or Matt the cop (his life keeps reaching new lows). I'm glad it wasn't Matt though.

They kept focusing (here as well as the last episode) about her wanting to return the key, yet never actually returning it- and that coupled with them setting up the inevitable fight between Peter and Isaac -especially when Bennet gave Isaac the gun - just made it obvious to me that she was the one to go.

" Are you traveling alone, young man?" Stan's character asked. That line is a clue. Ando and Hiro just might be the Wonder Twins of the show. Unless we see otherwise.
Wait, didn't Hiro travel to talk with Peter on the subway car... without Ando?
I can't abide control freaks, they are assholes as far as I am concerned. They do have a tendency to freak out when their control is broken, or when in danger of no longer being in control.
I don't doubt that he loves Claire, but her dad has a strange way of showing love. Sad for him and his family.
I am hoping Matt returns the diamonds, but I feel that they are going to be used against him soon.

lets not forget that hiro and peter have met which means that peter has the ability to time travel. combine this with the fact that simone was in his vision when he blows up new york and im betting that she doesnt stay dead.
