Not to rub salt in wounds or anything, but the Tigers made a lot of mistakes. A bunch of errors, some bad plays that probably could have been errors, and one or two questionable coaching decisions(but everything's questionable when you lose). Last year, even though it was a sweep, I thought the Astros played really well, and the White Sox simply played better(almost immaculately). This year it kind of seemed like both teams were yucking it up, and the Cardinals were able to get enough quality pitching performances here and there to come out on top.
