Yeah, I've got a few questions.
1. G-man, when did Prometheus make those posts you quoted? I'm only asking because I know what you're getting at...you're not-quite-saying they've been chums for a while now, as that's the only explanation for Prometheus going over there and the subsequent posts.
Thing is, though, that I never really spoke to whomod either. I mean, I remember him and I remember the months he spent posting here, but we never posted to each other. Still, he's emailed me and PMed me from time to time with articles he thought I should post here and invitations to join other boards. I think it's quite likely that he has the same relationship with Pro. Only difference is that Pro recently took him up on the offer. Doesn't necessarily mean they were friends when Pro made that post you quoted, unless there's something I'm missing.
Don't mean to come to Pro's defense or speak for him. I'm sure Pro will speak for himself...maybe. Just a possibility that came to mind, since I know whomod still likes to keep in touch, even though he and I were never chummy.
2. bsams, that thread you posted was started by whomod on October 9. You posted this thread on October 10. How the FUCK did you find it that fast? I mean, seriously. And the message board God explanation ain't gonna work this time, homeskillet. Are you a member there too or some'n?

In all seriousness, that's actually a completely reasonable explanation for how Pro ended up the other board.
Its not so reasonable an explanation for why Pro vascillates between whomod as "barely remembered" and "legend" depending on which board he posts on.

Communication is a two-way street. The whomod-me thing didn't go both ways. At least, I don't remember ever responding to him. If I did...it wasn't memorable.

Yes, that's always been my problem with Whomod.
It goes way beyond simply respectfully disagreeing with him from left and right perspectives on the issues discussed.
There is an inherent deceitfulness and a mocking hatred in the way Whomod conducts himself in discussions, including misrepresentation of the facts, character assassination, and (as evidenced here and in the linked topic) sniping from the shadows, through others.
