Funny thing is, I just checked an old empty bottle I still have and it says 40%.
From memory, the 43% bottle was bought here and the 40% bottle in France, which surprises me!
I thought it would be the same right across Europe as I didnt think there were laws against alcohol % in most big Euro countries.
