I got killed by a parrot

I wandered into deep waters to get killed by the sharks. I couldn't wait any longer.

Well the shark did the damage, but the parrot did 1 hp damage and killed me

I'm finding a shitload of rifles, empty rifles and blunt machetes...and bananas and mangos. I think all the animals are dead.

I have a Pirate named piggie and a soldier named Dave Nothere.... so don't kill me.

Is there a bank in York?

Well I finally stumbled on Serious Sam, but sadly I only had 20 or so APs and it was my lowest level character that found him!
I did knock about 15 HPs off him though!

He was in the hut to the right of the bank in York, which is where Herman is now hiding!

Aps are hard to come by....I'm still lost in the Jungle except for Derby I don't know where shit is...

Mr. Bungle hates me now, I'm sure. I his ass in the middle of the York ammo hut in front of everyone - that makes at least one Bungle kill with each of my three characters. First one for Snodgrass, Capn Sammitch has one, and squeegeeman has three or four, I can't recall.

Dave, click on your profile and select 1st Imperial Privateers Regiment as your clan. That's all of us.

There is now a bank branch opened in Durham, 1 click southwest of the Trader's Hut. Hideo Inakajimita is the bank manager. He has FAKs for those in need. The local Durhamites have been encouraging. Durham is a friendly town. As ever, the Bank is a safehouse for Imperials.

In Raktam, a Wicksick headhunter named Crowjane has given Dappled Shadow 99 GCs. Most of that is to be sent by transfer to the branch in York, but right now I've only got 50GCs with Ibn in York. So she said we could keep the rest. So, in Raktam, we have 150 GCs. Some of that will be going to healing herbs, so if you're in trouble in Raktam you know where to come. Dappled Shadow occasionally wanders off to kill the trader's guard dog to build XPs, with a view getting triage with the next level. By the way, is "Judith" one of us?

In York, Oztec is being a bit of a dick, but he didn't kill Ibn al Xuffasch. Ibn went and found him while he was sleeping in a hut and told him to stop messing around with the bank. Hopefully this display of tolerance (not kicking his arse while he slept) will make him back off. We'll see.

Don't forget: attack the bank managers to gain XPs (an offer only open to Imperials - I'll be attacking anyone else who tries it). It is helpful if you heal them in return, but not strictly necessary. I'd rather you exchange the FAKs or healing herbs or whatever for gold coins and give the coins to the bank managers in lieu of medical attention.


FirstAmongstDaves has been off fighting Dalpokians and looking for the conch shell, which is currently north of Dalpok and east of the shipwreck in the hands of an extremely dangerous and murderous Raktam native called Armadox the Butcher. I have also been knocking the shite out of Long Fin Killie whenever I see him at the shipwreck. He's killed 243 pirates thus far.

I see no point in establishing a bank branch at the shipwreck, partly because there are no huts, and partly because I think I'd just get constantly killed if I was a sitting target. But if someone wants to open one in Derby, especially, feel free.

Kristofer Schanz has opened up a bank branch in Derby in a hut directly south of the Trader's Hut. It's about the most useful thing I've done with the character so far. There's just one problem: Kristofer Schanz only has 8 gold pieces to his name, so I'm hoping no one asks for a loan soon. If it wasn't considered zerging, I'd have Henry Quantos deposit another 10 gold coins at the Derby branch, but that would curse both characters, possibly all of them. Still, I would like to know whether the curse extends only to the IP address being used, in which case I could easily get around it. Simon is pretty tight-lipped about that for obvious reasons. Nowhereman: you were cursed, can you tell us if there's a way to get around it after it's happened?

I'm level six now, and seem to have amassed quite a bunch of loot and charms without killing anybody. But I'm still lost. GPS shows -70.452,+26.464, but I don't know what that means and how i can use that info.

Serious Sam & Oztec are both in the hut to the right of the bank in York!
Herman just went in & hacked another 30 HPs off Sam, but there were so many misses due to his low level, otherwise I woulda got my first human kill!

As for being cursed, only the two characters who were involved were cursed, and it only lasted a few days before they automatically lifted it.
You basically use 2 APs for every move rather than 1, so either just carry on as normal knowing that you wont be able to do so much, or just dont use the characters for a few days!

I almost dropped an elephant with a cutlass at level 1..sweet, and don't take on a tiger with your bare hands...

Toucan Son of Sam is still a bitch. I won't attack Serious Sam while the treaty is in place. Therefore, I'll be turning my attention to Toucan...

I just went over to the Hut, to the right of the York branch, and took about twenty off of Oztec. Then I told him I wouldn't kill him, but wanted to let him know I was aware of his attacks on me. I then healed him with a few Med Kits. Now, we wait and see whether he comes after me again. If so, then, he's also my new bitch...

I logged off last night and two tigers wandered into my square. I awoke this morning to a whopping 1HP, then ran into the next square where a monkey threw poo at me (or something) and I died.

I'm really lost. I thought I was on my way to York but this fucker killed me in my sleep, so I guess I was on my way to Dalpok.

That's it, enough of this pacifist bullshit. I'm going to kill every native I see.

Dammit, I've been hanging out in the jungle forever and I've only aquired one skill and have been killed at least 5 times--On top of this, I still can't hit anyone for crying out loud!

When's this game gonna get better?

Herman Owen is builing some nice XPs.
He keeps leaving the safety of the bank or trader hut, lopping 20 or 30 APs off Oztec, then returning to the bank etc.
Serious Sam has moved on, so Oztec has to be my new bitch!

Toucan Son of Sam killed one of mine yesterday, but he did him a favour as my last cutlass had snapped, and I was able to go back to the shipwreck & trade for some more!
While I was there I did a quick scan of the shipwreck & came up with a shit loada goodies including a blunt cutlass, two gold coins, a gem & lotsa water bottles!

You found a gem? Those are worth a LOT of gold coins.

I traded it for some cutlasses!
I go through cutlasses like Snarf goes through wigs!

I have bad luck with cutasses as well. My last visit to the shipwreck, I was able to trade all of my blowthingies for 10 cutlasses in total though, so I'm all set for the meantime.

And I'm getting tired of the hypocrisy with a lot of natives hating pirates for being evil even though they are the ones who kept PKing me in my sleep(despite me not having any PKill in my profile)

What I did was trade the gem for two GPS systems, then traded one of them for some cutlasses!

Until I have a higher level with bartering skills, there is not a lot else I can do!

I have no idea what I'm doing in this game. Every so often, I log on, find myself killed, heal myself and transport the same place I started, walk around till I run out of points...log on, find myself killed....

This 75 AP cap is so stupid. It should be upgradeable by at least 75 .

I think Isolation should be added to the hit list as he has killed both me & Dave recently, also Von Blotto as he killed me as well!

I'm done with my pacifist schtick. I'm going to hurt every native I come accross. Uncle Ziggy from Dalpok has the honor of being the first victim.

Oh, I just saw this now, Unca Zigg is a level 22. If I knew that, I wouldn't have attacked him. No wonder I missed a lot.
