It was Christmas Eve.

It was an especially good Christmas for Ray's family. Carol was there, too, as were their parents, Barbra and Jim.

The Professor was still there, too. He had researched Earth customs, and was familar with Christmas. He gave the entire family a super advanced camera he'd created. It took pictures without need of film or a disc; the photos could be instantly downloaded to a computer, or sent as a signal and printed up on whatever paper one wished them to be on.

He did not use the device to turn himself caucasian; he was proud of being blue, and only used it on himself either when he went out or when there was company at the house.

There was much of the latter, as friends and relatives arrived to wish the Parsons family ( Jim, Barbra, Carol and Ray. ) a Merry Christmas.

Ray gave his present to his parents - it was a brand new, family sized microwave.. as the old one was just about worn out. This one was safer, as newer microwaves emitted only a negligable amount of radiation.

Carol gave her Mother a beautiful pendant, and her father a new watch.

The parents gave Ray a new computer, and Carol, a dvd player, as she still preferred to use a vcr.

" Time to get into the 21 st century, Carol." her father, Jim told her with a smile. Jim is a large, jovial man with a mustache.

Carol just blushed and graciously accepted the gift.

The family had chipped in and purchased a new ipod for the Professor, whose love for Earth classical music and knowledge of it was quite impressive.

Ray had demonstrated his new abilities to his mother a few days ago. She was impressed when Ray picked up the couch with one hand, and when he changed into an exact duplicate of Ronald Reagan, right down to his voice
and mannerisms.

She took this new development quite well. She did find it a bit unsettling that her son's natural hue was blue, but that did not bother her so much, now that she knew that Ray still remembered and loved them all. He was gaining more memories all the time from his past life, but they were integrating into his mind about the same way as if a man had gone back into time and changed his future... he would retain his memories of who he was, but new memories would appear in his mind, too.

It was a wonderful Christmas.

There on the piano were many Christmas cards. The Parsons family were liked and loved by many.

A large card in the center of the piano stood out among all the others. It simply said in huge, red letters :

" Merry Christmas, Everybody!"
