Quote: the G-man said: With all due respect, Pro, WB is entitled to his opinion and/or perception. And that's all it is: his perception.
You are, of course, entitled to your perception too.
However, the fact that you can't even allow that two people can perceive events differently does smack of, dare I say, intolerance. There was simply no reason to call WB a liar just because he perceived the situation differently than you did.
To be candid, this has become a real issue with you lately, namely, a need to view other opinions in very black and white terms. I think I mentioned it on your John Kerry thread and, maybe, on the Limbaugh v Fox thread (though I don't recall off the top of my head). Instead of saying "I think opinion 'x' is wrong because...", you have started putting forth statements that tend to indicate that "there's no valid basis to view things differently than me", "person 'x' who disagrees with me is an 'asshole'" or "the other poster interpreted it differently than me, therefore, he is a LIAR". If everyone (well, everyone except Doc), who disagrees with you is an "asshole" and a "liar," it seems just a teensy bit intolerant.
And when challenged, the best you come up with is a restatement of your original opinion in lieu of clarification and discussion. All of which, again, does come of as intolerant.
But, hey, that's just my perception of your behavior. Others might perceive it differently. I won't call them liars if they do.
Oh and of course you have never believed your opinion/perception is 100% right and argued that point have you.
People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones G-Monkey!
