I tend to agree that that is not a film still but a painting!
I know the surfer is gonna be CGI, but that doesnt even look as good as the Terminator CGI.

Yeah, I went to go see Night at the Museum yesterday morning...that's when they had the trailer. Also Spiderman 3 and The Simpsons Movie.

The Simpsons one was funny. Homer had an accident with the hammer. And some bunny-violence, which, well, you know how I feel about bunnies...
When the Spidey one started, you could hear all the kids in the audience go 'Spiderman!' 'Spiderman!' 'Spiderman!' They were all whispering, it was really cute. And yeah, the trailer was nice too. I don't know anything about Venom, but it looks really engaging.

Fantastic Four 2 is coming out this summer? That's a big mistake.
The first one wasn't that big of a hit and mass audiences generally do one superhero film per summer, so Spider-man 3 will seriously hurt FF2.

Maybe Spider-Man 3 will put people in the mood for an FF movie.
Personally, I think the first one sucked. I probably won't bother seeing the second. I expect it to do quite well in the box office, though.

Some things just need time to catch on, you know?

I thought the trailer looked pretty good. I never saw the first movie but the trailer for this looked way better than the trailer for that.
Alba's still all wrong for Sue, however. They should have gone with someone like Naomi Watts or Rachael McAdams

G Man, you are so right there! Naomi Watts ( King Kong, The Ring 2. ) would have been perfect as Sue! She is more beautiful than Alba, and some of that beauty is simply that she conveys much more feeling than Alba... and Sue Richards has ALWAYS come across as a very caring, very feeling woman.

That's why i'm sort of optimistic about this movie.
I didn't even see the first X-men movie when it came out (I disliked the cartoon anyways, and I think I was still in high school). But watching all three of them now...I think I can enjoy them all equally.
Any book or movie that's made into a series tends to be better enjoyed as a whole. The sometimes a second season is better than the first. On the other hand, events in a sequal don't have an impact unless you're aware of previous facts.
So, with that in mind, I'm going to learn back and enjoy the film. And Ioan. Oh, Ioan...

Ya know, thats one of the things I always hated about the FF in the comic books, and its been translated to screen as well.
They are sposed to be heroes yet both the Torch & Thing seem to have a penchant for destroying public & private property for no reason.
Everytime they do this, they dont seem to care that they might also be risking peoples lives!

Actually...I hate to say it.....but that entire scene looks pretty damn cool. Of course, that might be the only thing about the movie that's good, I don't know. And, unfortunately I noticed they still have Alba in there...

I agree, it looks AWESOME, even!
And, like you, Pro, I am hoping that the clip was NOT the best minute or so from the movie!
Hope there's a LOT more action in this one than there was in the first!

She was splendid in King Kong, The Ring and The Ring 2.
Alba was very wooden as Sue. Naomi Watts would have made Sue very real, and caring.
