That's why i'm sort of optimistic about this movie.

I didn't even see the first X-men movie when it came out (I disliked the cartoon anyways, and I think I was still in high school). But watching all three of them now...I think I can enjoy them all equally.

Any book or movie that's made into a series tends to be better enjoyed as a whole. The sometimes a second season is better than the first. On the other hand, events in a sequal don't have an impact unless you're aware of previous facts.

So, with that in mind, I'm going to learn back and enjoy the film. And Ioan. Oh, Ioan...
