Honestly, it depends upon what angle they take. If they go more of a regular ole attack helicopter, there are tons of old an new machines out there fit for the job. If you want the more TV budget friendly civilian helicopter that you augment like the original, then there are several others out there that have a similar design as the old Bell 222.



There is a big difference between changing the car in knight rider, to the helicopter in Air Wolf.
Air Wolf was more grounded in reality, with the copter being cutting edge at the time, and a lot of the stuff it did was real (they had gotten info from the military, but were not allowed to discuss what was & wasnt real).
With Knight Rider, the car was not the "inovation" it was all the tech that was added!
For instance, the dash display on a new Knight Rider would have to change as the puter tech in the real world has advanced so far since the 80s, but the car would not have to change!

The helicopter in Air Wolf would look a little silly being a "one of a kind" super helicopter if it looked older than current models!
