I only know what I hear on the radio, and what I hear is that all the coaches that left took more money for lesser jobs with other organizations because Bears' ownership low-balled them in negotiations. From what I can see, the Bears should have a bright future, but they lost some good people from their coaching staff, and we all saw what happened when the Patriots made major coaching changes last year. Continuity is very important, and now there is a chance the Bears will not look very good next year because of a learning process that must happen quickly. I really hope Smith gets his deal, and ownership wakes up and realizes good coaches get good money in this league, or they walk.
