Holy fucking shit its impressive!
Ok, so I got it running through a 42" plasma tv, but only using the standard av lead at the moment, and it still looks about 50 times better than my PS2.
Dont have a HDMI socket on my tv, but the component lead I have ordered should be equal to a HDMI anyway!
Got three games in the bundle.
2 FPS type thingees and a driving game.
Motorstorm is pretty damn impressive, but really comes into its own when you use the first person driving view as the sensation of speed is overwhelming.
Also, when I flipped the car the first time I started to actual move as if I was really rolling!
Call of duty 3 looks great, but its gonna take some getting used to with regards to the targeting and enemy recognition, as sometimes its hard to make out who is the enemy and who is an ally because the uniforms are so similar.
Resistance:Fall of man, looks stunning, but once again its gonna take some getting used to (mainly because I hae been so used to playing Black on the PS2).
The motion sensor in the controller is something that looks like it could be hit or miss, depending on the game as I found it quiet useable in Call of duty, but to difficult in Motorstorm!
The wireless controller is a really nice addition, and definetly a lot better than the old wired controllers.
So far, I have only tried about three or four PS2 games in it, of which none worked.
Quite frankly it doesnt bother me really as I still have the PS2 plugged into the tv as my new tv has more input sockets than I have things to input into them!
Also, with later software upgrades, this could all end up being sorted.
Not had a chance to really look into what it can and cant do yet as it arrived a lot later in the day than I'd originally hoped (damn postal service), but I cant really see myself ripping CDs etc with it!
Once they start bringing out games that utilise the graphics even more, I think my eyes will start bleeding!

It'll be cool when the software downloads become available, but I am not gonna be too worried if they dont come too quickly!
I've got enough room on my tv stand for the PS2 and the PS3, and have enough sockets on my tv for both, so its not exactly like I cant play my old games.
Gotta do more reading on whats what with it anyway as the only problem I can see with any PS2/PS1 emulation is that you cant transfer your memory card data.
I'll have to check to see if it can be done or not!
Right now though, I dont see myself playing too many PS2 games anyway!

A network of Playstation computers might help Danish scientists to solve the mystery of prostate cancer
A team of scientists has enlisted the help of Playstation 3 owners to help them crack the code for prostate cancer.
Brian Vest, a professor in computer science at the University of Copenhagen, realised that the lightning fast processor in Playstation 3 can double as a home computer. Together with specialists at the Bioinformation Research Centre at Aarhus University, he developed a method for applying the gaming machine's processor to help crunch data about prostate cancer.
'The machine is ten times faster than a normal computer so by using its enormous calculating powers we can lighten our work considerably,' Vest told Nyhedsavisen newspaper.
Playstation owners involved in the project simply install a program, link their console to the scientists' network via the internet and then let the machine do the work. While the owners rest their hands and fingers for the next round of Armored Core, the machine searches a DNA chip that contains genetic material from 2000 people. The goal is to locate the gene that causes prostate cancer.
Some 100 Playstation owners have participated in the project since January.
Dr Jørgen Kvist Kristensen at State Hospital's Urology Department is hopeful the project can give insight into who develops prostate cancer, which is the second most fatal form of cancer among Danish men.
'That would give us the possibility to manipulate the disease so it never develops,' Kristensen said.
