So what do you guys and girls & Rob think?Which lineup do you like best? Hard for me to judge which one I dig better. MA has a pretty impressive powerhouse lineup and I gotta say I really am liking Ares(check out his mini-series now in TPB,it's good readin')as the breakout character on this team and having Ms.Marvel lead is prett cool.I do wonder though if there's too much power though.Wonder Man and Sentry are two of the strongest guys on the planet,Ares is Thor & Wolverine rolled into one,Ms.Marvel ain't no slouch in terms of power either and of course you got Iron Man.There really shouldn't be anything they can't wrap up in under two seconds so something will have to come along to really challenger this team.
On the flipside,you got the New Age Outlaw Avengers.Less power than the Mighty team but some of the sneakiest heroes around.Led by Luke Cage(right on)and having the unlikely assemblage of Doc Strange,Spider-Woman,Spider-Man,Wolverine & Iron Fist,this Avengers team has their work cut out for 'em.Not only trying to pick up where they left off before Civil War,they have to elude 50 states worth of super-hero teams set up by Tony Stark's Initiative.
Bendis is writing both books so I'm ok with that.Frank Cho doing the artwork and(as posted earlier)having Mark Bagley fill in while he catches up makes Mighty a more visually appealing book to me.Lenil Yu on New Avengers is.....meh,at best to me.I've never been a big fan of his work but I'll wait & see how it turns out on this title.If nothing else,thank God that these titles and the Marvel Universe heroes get the spotlight they deserve as I'm sick of all the X-men crap getting the pushes throughout the years from Marvel while the rest of the heroes got mediocre talent on their books.
