The team interaction was decidely different as well.
The WCA had a very "soap opera" feel about it, where as ECA seemed to be more of an "epic" feel to it!
ECA was like WWE to WCA indy promotion!
You always felt that the West Coast branch were more accessable, where as the East Coast branch felt like elite Hollywood celebs!
I always got a feeling that the East Coast branch always looked down on the West Coasters like they were Avengers Jr.
