I'm guessing a big paycheck will have a lot to do with it.

Also, between Depp doing the "Pirates" movies, Downey doing "Iron Man" and even going back to Brando and Hackman doing the first "Superman, the stigma of doing these sorts of movies seems to have all but vanished.
