you can't force it, you just have to wait for it. the story kinda circled around for a bit as the characters came together and everyone tried to figure out what they should be doing. now they're headed out to do the job and there's a solid direction.
so, you just have to wait for inspiration to hit again. sometimes it takes a little while.
